GreasyBlocks has been dropping these Street Dreams videos since day one, and this one has been highly anticipated by a few people. Danny Alaniz is one of the dopest camera operators in the game and his footage is always a great feeling. It puts you right in the action. Looks like they are getting it in HEAVY in the desert!

Joe Simpson and the rest of the crew at Tempest racing are excited to announce a new location.Tempest Racing has been in operation for 10 years and has undergone many changes over the years.  However this is by far the biggest and best move to date ! This move was accomplished when Joe joined forces with Jeff Croy,owner of LDG Automotive Specialists. Together they decided to build Tempest Racing into the largest and most complete race fabrication and dyno tuning facility in the tri-state area!
The new location features more than 8,000 sq feet of available space, a in ground Dyno-jet chassis dyno, multiple lifts, rim/tire mounting equipment, diagnostic equipment, alignment machine, and expansion of our fabrication tooling and equipment. For everybody’s safety and protection the new facility has also been fitted with a security system including multiple security camera’s inside and out.
In addition to the much larger work area, the new facility will now have a dedicated show room and inventory storage area for all of your performance part needs. After 10+ years in the business, we have established wholesale distributor / dealer accounts with tons of     Manufacturers so we can provide you with whatever parts you may need, when you need them!
The new location is: 857 Keith Lane Owings MD 20736
Conveniently just 20 miles off of major highways 495 / 95 / 301.  Closer to all major cities in the area including Washington DC, Northern Virgina, and Annapolis.  however, they  are not much further from customers coming from the south. Maryland International Raceway, in Mechanicsville MD, is 35 miles away and Capital raceway, in Crofton Maryland, is 29 miles away.  2 race tracks in less than 45 min! Cant beat that!
Look for a “GRAND” Grand opening with product giveaways; introductory labor and tuning specials, and a whole lot more! Grand opening date will be announced soon.

When you think of corvettes, you think of the C6.R and ZR1’s, Z06’s and coupes… not many people associate performance with convertibles… well this car may change that as it blows past your race car.

If you saw this silver ‘vert roll up at the stoplight you might think to yourself, “self, why would someone bother modding a ‘vert?” and then you’d probably think “why is this ‘vette next to me quietly pounding the ground” and then as it pulls off you hear it sit on the converter and the turbos spool and you think to yourself “ZOMG MUZT HAZ CAR!”

C6Turbo Profile

For a car that is comparably quiet and looks completely freaking stock this is the baddest car i’ve ever seen and it STILL gets 27mpg on the highway… It’s got a twin turbo kit and built everything… Friggin’ thing makes 861 on pump gas… to me that is effin’ baaaaaddd.

And if any of you out there have a few dollars burning a hole in your pocket you can own this rocketship…Buy it on eBay!

If you’re in the market for a vette, or anything sporty for that matter, you seriously need to look at this thing… You’re missing out if you dont.

C6Turbo Engine

And just as a side story, while following the owner to take these photos he would gas it every now and then just long enough to spool the turbos and lay down about 10ft of rubber. This meant I had to go from cruising in 5th to winding out 2nd, powershifting 3rd and finally catching back up about 10 seconds later. Apparently, 17lbs in the SS/TC isn’t enough to keep up with the ‘vette! Now i know how StunnaBEN is gonna feel after he sees my tail lights when we bump off :P

Looks like IFO is on the same day as our Eibach event. Gotta show love to IFO, there are going to be some great runs there! In fact, the most wanted grudge run of import drag racing will be there, Tony1 vs Miller.

As you know, Voodoo, Rodrez, and myself have been throwing one of the most publicized and featured events over the last 7 years…The Eibach Meet.  In worldwide publications you see it, you see countless “my eibach pics” threads, everyone from the racers to the show cars come out to educate and show off the year’s hard work.  It’s meeting grounds for all… BUT… after reading once we look around:

This car sounds like a bad motherf*&$#@!! I couldn’t believe the flames this thing shot on exit, and it most certainly has changed since the video of the Camaro. Hopefully the money races start soon! Greasy will keep up with things as they progress, so stay tuned!

Here is the pass of this, made after countless posts on a certain local forum had people bickering back and forth like a bunch of school girls.

This year, we have not even had the chance to get to the track much but already it is back going again. So… why not keep you guys in on the action, right? Hopefully the videos and bets will get better, and we will see some more smack talking! So far, it seems that a few people want to take a chunk out of the RX7, but from what I hear Johnny wont go down without a good fight. I also HEAR that Johnny has a another car or 2 somewhere sitting. Hope you guys get to cracking those asses soon. Upstate Carolina needs more grudge! Right now as it sits, looks like the RX7 has a lot to catch up with, but that will make for a good season for the cheerleaders!
A few people are set to kick it off again with the 7 soon, I will try to get some video and post it up.

Where do you stand in this pissing match?

Tony1 has been putting mucho dollars into his new 2011 build up and its been a quick prep before this race! Does he know something we don’t? Miller has laid low this time. What is he up to? Where is he at in his prep at this point? Who knows… but he has locked it in and said he will be there.

Groupie Cheer Squad!

Then you have every cheerleader in the nation participating on the who is who match. Its a grudge race, and rules are pretty much out the window. If I were you guys, I would be throwing bets right and left and have the pizza and beer ready for when it goes down. But the race, the promoting body, and the cheer-leading squad are only half of the drama here.

Both racers in their own right have their area on lock, but in all of sports, there is only 1 room for the King! Who are you pulling for and why?
