Jae Nyce (Nyce1s.com) sent over a sneak photo of Slick on the 1st drive from his new EK build.

MC Slick, aka big ass house, has been building an EK over the last few months at Certified Racing in New Jersey. Dude posted quite a few photos for people who are friends with him on Facebook, as well as on the Honda Day page. Slick is the front-man aka voice at Honda Day, for those who don’t know who he is or cannot put a face with the name. Slick is always posting things from the celly. I personally keep up with his pool parties. With Honda Day right around the corner, looks like Albert and crew over at Certified finished slick get on his Ninja Turtle Shit just in time. They have been busy as hell, probably have been busy as hell with Honda Day Project Car Giveaway.

Where are you gonna be this weekend?

West Coast Nationals…

this is the 3rd annual west coast nationals 2 to be held at sacramento raceway.i have worked very hard to make this the event of 2011. the west coast is strong with cars but i wish we had the fan base like east coast. i won my frist national event in etown summerslam in like 2004 with 30k people in attendance. We are working hard to bring the west coast back to its form in the early 2000’s and late 90’s. I expect 40+ outlaw cars this weekend and im looing forward to speed factory coming here and t1, i hope kaizenspeed makes it and norris is on the way with a mystery east coast car. We will be debuting the Crazystar/Mfactory integra driven by lisa kubo, our spfwd car driven by justin verches, and our all motor outlaw car driven by pun prak. Honda tuning and import tuner will be out there covering the event and we will be making a feature length dvd of the event to donate the profits to the leukemia and cancer society. this event i a stair case to more exiting things in the future for the west coast and abroad. we are blessed to have some of the best sponsors in the world and i would love to thank them Competition clutch, Supertech, Driveshaftshop, Crazystar inc/strada ind, Cp pistons/carrillo rods, and Spec Clutches and flywheels. They allowed the event to be the highest pay in sport compact history with it being a gamblers race. we have other associate sponsors, Skunk 2, blox racing, clutchmasters, innovative mounts, luxury detail, synchrotech, adp/ikon sponsored by HPD.
We are still looking for more bounty sponsors and i would like to thank the following companys who have already stepped up,  Speed factory, supremacy racing, turbo smart, golden eagle, venom, blueprint racing.
This weekend the 3rd Annual West Coast Nationals 2 to be held at Sacramento Raceway. Danny Alaniz got at me about it and we went back and forth on it and then emails got to flying around with Chad Barber. It got funny when Chad emailed and said he fell off the dyno and sprained his ankle. Get better man. You cannot be all over the place at this event with a doubled up ankle all swollen!

Danny Alaniz will be doing full HD production coverage with over 5 cinematic camera rigs on hand, along with incar footage, and more. Dude has been working his ass off to make the event as enjoyable to those who are not able to attend as possible.

A Timeless Classic… E30 M3

Russ Ethridge, who I went to the Bud Shootout in Daytona with in February, recently reminded me that his brother, Daniel AKA “BrothaDan”, had an ‘88 BMW… but, not just any BMW mind you. An E30 M3 that he had gone through and cleaned up and fixed. To have 100k+ miles on the car it looks freaking amazing. So I had Russ thieve the M3 and drop off “Bennytun” as a trade for the day. Here’s the results…

Jeff has been quite busy with the S2k! This guy is completely out of his mind with this build. There are no shortcuts, no funny shit here. Jeff has produced an over the top build, that is so close to running, but far away from clicking off times. Jeff gives Greasy a peek into his madness!

Jeremy ran into a few problems with the CTR after his introduction. A leaky trunk is never good, and you never paint over shit. The best way to do it is to take it down and start from scratch, right?
